~*~ Amelita had been out all night the previous night, doing a gig. It had been for some college party that didn't really pay well, but it was great fun. As long as she was having fun, she didn't really care that much about the money. Especially since she needed some normalcy in her life again. She hadn't been hunting much lately, but that didn't mean she couldn't throw a mean darts at the grill. It wasn't her weekend to be a pet, so she decided, after a long day's sleep, to go out for a drink. Once at the grill, however, even with her system flush with vampire blood, she wasn't prepared for how fast the alcohol would take and got woozy after only two drinks. Deciding against drinking more right away, as she still wanted to be able to protect herself, she found someone playing darts and decided to challenge them. Naturally, she was being overly girly and giggly, leaving her opponent thinking she couldn't handle it, until she utilized her new-found skills of throwing stuff at a target. Sadly her opponent bought her another drink and she wasn't one to be rude and refuse. One round turned into another until she was a little too drunk for comfort. Exiting the grill, she walked around the corner and realized she had no one else to call but Damien. So she called him, asking very nicely if he could come get her and she'd stay two weekends in a row. After hanging up, she leaned against the wall to be able to stand up straight and enjoyed the fresh air. Until one of the people buying her drinks walked up to her and started to be quite pushy. "Leave, please," she begged him, pushing at his chest. The guy just wouldn't move and she whimpered slightly as he ran his nose up her neck. "You really don't wanna do that," she said, but she was cut off before she could say anything else. She had no weapons on her, she sucked at fighting and she was drunk. Even though she knew she wasn't getting away, and that he was hurting her arms, she couldn't help but try to squirm away, until her body was pushed against the brick wall by his body and his lips were on her neck again, ready to bite. So she closed her eyes and stopped fighting. Hoping Damien would get there in time.

Damien was busy at home, trying to get this paper work filled out and hand it into Marcus by Monday. His phone went off and knew it was Gale, he had a different ringtone for all his contacts. He picked up and could hear in the slur of her voice that she was clearly drunk.
This was why his pets didn't have the freedom she possessed, but a deal was a deal and he wasn't going to break it. Putting the paper work away, he headed out to his car and speed off to the grill. Once he parked in a no parking spot right infront of the door, he could hear everyone's thoughts and one in particular made him narrow his eyes.
He slammed the car door shut, being careful enough to not turn the car inside out as he marched his way in. He found Gale very quickly, being pinned against the wall and it was clear she was trying to push the horn dog off her, but the man wasn't going to budge. He very calmly strolled up behind the guy, standing behind him.
He leaned forward and whispered. It's not nice to touch someone else belongings without their permission.... The man turned around but not before getting his face knocked in and flew into the wall beside where Gale was standing, making a nice hole and just laid there. Everyone stopped what they were doing and Damien didn't waste time grabbing his pet and pulled her out from the grill. Once she was in the front seat, he went around to the drivers side and got in.
He had half a mind to punish her, but he would rather her be sober while doing it. He didn't say anything to her, but the look on his face gave way that he was pissed off.

Relief flooded through her when the weight was off her and the man was lying in a nice pile on the floor. It didn't matter if Damien was pissed or that he dragged her out of their and stuck her in his car like an errant child. She was just grateful to be out of there, heck she'd take whatever punishment Damien wanted to dish out because she had half a mind to punish herself for her stupidity as well. She knew better than to go anywhere defenseless, and to drink on top of it... It was a rookie mistake.
"Thank you for coming to get me Damien, I don't know what I would've done..." she whispered shamefully and looked down at her hands. "I didn't have anyone else to call..." She mumbled again and refused to look at the vampire. The look he'd had when he pulled her out of there had more or less said it all. He clearly was angry with her for drinking in the first place, then she had to be so stupid as to call him to come get her? Sure, she was grateful that he'd saved her, but she wasn't sure she'd appreciate whatever he decided was proper punishment.
Gale had half a mind to beg Damien to be nice, but she knew he could do whatever he saw fit due to her own mistakes. Heck, not only was she grateful Damien had saved her, but she felt foolish for calling him in the first place.

If he hadn't made it in time, the asshole who was all over her would have taken advantage of her and then he would have to kill the bastard and just toss her out into the streets. She was his pet, that didn't mean she could just go around do these things. He knew that allowing pets to have this sort of freedom was never a good thing, but a promise was a promise.
He listened as she started to apologized and thanked him for coming to her rescue. He didn't say anything, only turning down the street and stopped once they were in-front of his home. He turned the car off, going around to the passenger side and opened the door.
He barely let her had time to get herself out as he pulled her by her wrist and dragged her to his house. Once inside, he allowed her to just lay down on his bed and left to go back to his study.

When Damien wouldn't even speak to her, she remained silent as she really didn't want to upset him further. She could only guess what he'd have in mind, but she didn't want to worry about what would surely come right now. No, right now, she was more concerned with making it through the night, though if he wanted her dead, she already would be.
A whimper escaped her, despite herself, when he pulled her by her wrist like that, dragging her behind him. He really was treating her like she'd betrayed some kind of invisible trust, though she curled up and closed her eyes the moment she was allowed to rest. Maybe if she fell asleep, it would all have been a dream when she woke up.
When she opened her eyes next, she was absolutely parched. Still dressed in the same outfit as the night before, she quietly made her to the kitchen and quenched her thirst. Her head was actually a lot better than she deserved, even if she hadn't gotten that drunk, though she was anxious to avoid the vampire that day, almost afraid of him for the first time.

Damien had spent the entire night trying to get this paper work done for Marcus to hand to him by Monday morning. He could hear Amelitia in the kitchen, but didn't bother getting up to confront her about what she did.
She was drunk and people when they are drunk tend to do stupid and careless things. Humans were just like that, but it was also irresponsible on her part to do such things. He had half a mind to just break the deal they had and have her just go find someone else.
A soft sigh left him then as he loosened the tie and tossed it to the ground and had a few buttons on his white collared shirt unbuttoned before slowly walking to the kitchen where she was. The fear off her was emitting highly and it almost made him chuckle some, but he barely said anything as he walked by her and started to make some coffee.
So, had fun last night? He asked and cocked an eyebrow at her.

Amelita hadn't intentionally gone out to do something stupid the night before. She'd wanted to have fun with people her age, and teens tended to do silly things like get drunk, it wasn't even intentional to get drunk. She'd seriously misjudged the effects being a pet had on her alcohol tolerance and it had come back to bite her in the ass. Next time she went out, she'd be both armed and sober, that way Damien couldn't blame her for having fun. Her parents had never been the greatest disciplinarians either, so she'd grown up rather normal compared to a lot of hunters.
The hunter tried to calm down her nerves when Damien walked into the kitchen, but she still couldn't help but flinch slightly at words that escaped his lips. "For the most part," she said quietly, feeling guilty about putting herself at risk like that, even if it had been unintentional.
"Please, don't hurt me too much," she was still speaking very quietly, though this time she looked up at him, weary of what he was going to do. He didn't own her when she wasn't his, but that didn't mean she'd tolerate any of the pet business from anyone else either. He knew best what her punishment ought to be; as long as he didn't make it more than she could handle. As long as she kept him happy so he'd supply her, she had what she needed from him and she would just accept the strings that came with it.

He sat down at the table and took a sip of his coffee and just mad a low, almost growling type sound at her reply. He somewhat slammed the mug down on the wooden table and tried not to just jump up and hit her. If any of his pets had done something like that, he would have surely killed them right then and there, but like they agreed to, she was different.
I think I decide how much you are going to get hurt. He snapped.
His icy blue eyes flashed a almost silver color and he narrowed his eyes at her once he stood up. He slowly made his way over to her and stopped once he was right in-front of her. Not caring that she had a hang-over or not, he gripped the back of her hair and yanked her head roughly back, hearing the roots of her hair being stretched painfully.

She jumped slightly when he slammed the mug down on the table like that, afraid he'd take it too far. It didn't matter if she wasn't like his other pets, she was still afraid he'd treat her as such after what had he'd saved her from the evening before. If he was going to be so demanding of what she did with her time when she wasn't with him, then maybe she needed to find another supplier.
Tears sprung to her eyes when he yanked her head back by her hair like that. "Please," she whispered, looking up at him, weary and afraid of what he was going to do. He might just break her and she didn't want that. "You don't own me all the time." She knew she was only making it worse for herself by being defiant, but at least she wasn't lying or keeping things from him.
"Just get it over with so I don't have to see you again for a while," she said, the frustration of not being allowed to act her age while she was on her own bubbling through.

Her being defiant against him wasn't helping her situation at the moment and her words only made him more angry. He knew that he didn't own her all the time, but the fact that she was being irresponsible and had called him and thinking that he would just be fine with it didn't suit to well with him. He did have a life to when she wasn't over, just like she did when she wasn't being his pet.
If you didn't want to face the music then you shouldn't have called me to come pick your drunk ass up. He simply stated. Her next words only made his blood boil and he pushed her away from him.
Just leave and find another supplier, I am done with you.[/color He growled.

Had she known how angry he was gonna get, she wouldn't have called him in the first place. She'd thought she'd be safer with the vampire than on her own, but apparently that wasn't the case. He seemed like he would like nothing more than to seriously hurt her and she didn't want that.
"I didn't expect you to actually come get me," she mumbled. When she was pushed away like that with the growling and everything, she turned to face Damien. "Fine, I will. Because of you, I happen to know a couple more vampires than I did before."
After how easily she'd gotten drunk the night before, it was probably best if she didn't make the same deal again in the future, but found other ways to get her supply. Besides, he was overreacting. She'd made a mistake, it wasn't like she'd done it on purpose and she hadn't been trying to hurt the vampire, rather she didn't know any better.
"It was... interesting knowing you, Damien. All bets are off now." With a slight smile, she walked past him out of the kitchen.
